24-27 January 2020: 75th Anniverary of the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau Exhibition: All Saints Church, Hereford HR4 9AA. 8am - 4pm (not Sunday). Accessible venue, free entry

27 January 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp.

On behalf of the people of Herefordshire, Herefordshire Council is commemorating this event by hosting a photo exhibition which reflects the dehumanising realities of the camp. There are also written testimonies from survivors, quotations, and explanatory text.

This exhibition is only one of the multitude of international events marking Holocaust Memorial Day. The aims of the day are many, but fundamentally it seeks to remember victims of the Holocaust, to help keep such human tragedies in our consciousness.
