Alzheimer's Society are so proud to finally reveal the video that they made with the Rural Media Company and students from the Hereford College of Arts about the Leominster Meeting Centre. The Meeting Centre is a collaborative effort from Alzheimer's Society with support from the University of Worcester and Hereford County Council. It offers support for people with dementia as well as carers.
Debbie Powney, Manager of the Meeting Centre said: “I was really impressed with the way the students handled the subject of dementia, with such sensitivity and tact. They portrayed the message that people can live well with dementia in their communities superbly, demonstrating great regard and respect to all our members. We put each person at the heart of all that we do at Leominster Meeting Centre, which is fantastic as everyone brings something different to the group, and you get a small taste of this from this short video.”
