hvoss was lucky enough to be one of the successful organisations awarded funding through the Department for Transport community transport minibus fund to purchase a minibus for our Community Wheels project based in Leominster. Over 300 local charities and community groups across the country have benefited from the £25m Government fund.
Last week Nigel Povey, Business Development Manager from Minibus Options handed over the keys of a brand new 16 seater minibus to Linda Jones, our Community Wheels Supervisor.
The minibus will enable us to expand our community transport services in Herefordshire, supporting more isolated people to access the everyday services most of us take for granted. This wheelchair accessible vehicle will also be available for local group bookings. Please contact our Community Wheels office to find out more information on 01568 615785.
If you have some spare time, and you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver for our new Community Wheels 16 passenger + driver minibus, based in Leominster, please contact Linda on 01568 617722. You will need D1 on your licence, complete a DBS check, and full training will be provided.
