Putson Community Association (PCA), based at Saxon Hall, South Wye continues to grow from strength to strength as showcased at its well attended AGM on 12th February.
Willl Lindesay, hvoss Chief Executive was amongst many that went along to hear about the successes of the last year and some exciting plans for the future. Will said "It was a pleasure to attend the AGM and to join so many local residents and other members of the community in coming together to acknowledge the excellent work of PCA, and the invaluable community facility Saxon Hall has become".
"The Association has developed a very impressive range of activities benfitting the local community, all under the guidance of the trustees, Chairman David Griffiths, and Centre Manager Victoria Craig" Will added.
Amongst the highlights over the last year were establishing a Community Cafe in partnership with ECHO, a Reach Out charity networking event, and a broad range activities provided by a growing number of user groups catering for many interests. Looking ahead, the establishment of Reach Community Radio, whch will be based at Saxon Hall was enthusiastically welcomed by all attending.
