Designed by young people and practitioners, NWD provides access help with information, support and guidance services and lets young people (11-25) know what’s going on. 


During COVID-19 we have produced weekly bulletins to share information about the needs of children and young people in our county and the organisations and agencies supporting them. 

There are over 40 organisations in the NWD Partnership. All are working collaboratively to provide a range of support services including


  • CV writing and careers advice

  • Mental health support

      . Positive activity programmes (including poutreach)

      . Drug and alcohol cessation

      . Family crisis 

  • Housing 

      . Life skills development

  • Support during bereavement 

  • Youth representation and voice


We are open weekdays 9.30am - 4.30pm (Please check during COVID-19 opening times which has sibject to change)

During the COVID-19 pandemic NWD continues to provide support through a diverse range of partnership activities. There are many services that children and young people still have access to them, albeit it in different ways. Each week we are producing NWD bulletins to highlight the services available to children and young people. We have also developed understanding of emerging needs. We hold regular meetings with our partners and public bodies and have gained places on all of the key decision making forums and partnerships where plans and actions are developed.
