Organised by hvoss and its network of volunteers and cultural and community organisations. The aim is to raise awareness of the growing diversity within the county and the vital support being offered by local charities and community groups.

Afghan Girls Can Kick Screening @ The Kindle Centre, Hereford 17:30-19
A screening of film: Afghan Girls Can Kick by director Bahareh Hosseini. See trailer above. FREE event.
A documentary short film about the first Afghan women’s football team. It follows teenage girls as they break free from the restrictive norms of Afghan society and embrace the sport. The film portrays their journey from poverty and Taliban rule to becoming athletes, gaining confidence and self-esteem, and preparing for international matches.

This performance is organised by the Fetch Theatre and sponsored by the West Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership (WMSMP). It is a tale without words, told through puppetry and music. Cafe Church at St Peter’s: a relaxed, café-style service with British Sign Language and Ukrainian subtitles, dedicated to Refugee Week and prayers for peace all over the world. Come to reflect, sing, pray — and enjoy something tasty too!
Bandura Concert @ Black Mountain Barns 15-18:00
