Camera in the Community is your chance to participate in a new project. Putting together a journal of what effect COVID-19 has had on our lives and looking towards the future. Every Tuesday at Saxon Hall, from 10 am to 4 pm We aim to capture this moment in time for our community. Adding to the records of the social history of people and events in our area. Such as the Canary Girls of Rotherwas, photographer Derek Evans photographic archive of Hereford Life and the local memories shared by In Our Age magazine.
We hope to enter the finished community documentary into a Film Festival, publish our Journal online and make it available as a paperback book.
If you are unable to come to us at Saxon Hall, we can arrange to bring a Camera on the Community to you, safely recording your interview at arm's length.
Shy in front of the camera? We can record your voice, or we can send you a flyer or link to our interview questions. Then you can send us your own words, music, drawings, photos, video or artworks to be included in our Journal.
Please contact Trevor by email - thebigskill@gmail.com to arrange your interview opportunity.
