Herefordshire Mind Service Updates
We have introduced a new team of Link Workers to Herefordshire Mind!
They will be working across the county to support people with mental health difficulties, and their carers.
· Dedicated 1:1 appointment time
· Care navigation including wider community support, information and advice
· Preventative coping mechanisms for low level mental health conditions
· Peer based support
· Facilitating self-help support for people on long waiting lists
To access this service, referrals can be made via the multi-disciplinary team meetings. Looking forward, we will expand referral routes to be made directly from GP’s and voluntary organisations, and directly from clients.
We are thrilled to announce that we have received funding to expand our Safe Haven service for an additional evening every week.
Opening times include: · Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings between 5 – 10pm. To access support, please call 01432 372 407 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are experiencing emotional distress, or need urgent assistance with your mental health, we can provide support and advice. Our staff are welcoming, and will provide empathy and a respectful listening ear. We can discuss potential coping strategies with you, and even refer you to further services if required.
