We are delighted to announce final details of a further Talk Community support event, hosted by hvoss (Herefordshsire Voluntary Organisations Support Service) - a not to be missed FREE event for any group looking to fund a new project to help their local community thrive.

• come and talk about your project ideas with your local Herefordshire representative of the National Lottery Community Fund

• be inspired by a case history from a local Hereford community group of how they obtained funding to survive the pandemic and emerge a stronger organisation

The event is for staff, volunteers, and trustees of Herefordshire community sector organisations including voluntary and community groups, registered charities, CICs and CIOs.

-----

This funding event will be hosted by hvoss and chaired by Dave Tristram of Herefordshire Council.

We will be joined by –

Sophie Badham from Life and Soul Kitchen, in Hereford.

The Life and Soul Kitchen is a small registered charity supporting and working with adults with learning disabilities. LSK is developing and growing into a local vibrant Community Hub, Sophie, who runs LSK, will outline their journey and illustrate how funding from the National Lottery Community Fund supported this journey. A good news story to inspire us to keep going!

Anthony Bush, Funding Officer for Herefordshire at The National Lottery Community Fund.

Anthony will share some insight into the application process for the National Lottery Community Fund, with some examples of recent small local Herefordshire projects. He will discuss both Awards for all (up to £10k) and larger grants (Reaching Communities) of over £10K.

Following these speakers, there will be an opportunity for questions.
