Purple Leaf, through their parent organisation West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC), have over 30 years’ experience of delivering front line support to survivors of abuse and exploitation as well as providing education, training and awareness-raising for survivors and the professionals that support them.

We have developed a free one-hour e-learning resource called ‘An introduction to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation - Key Messages for Practitioners’ which focuses on the following areas

  • What do we mean by sexual abuse and exploitation
  • The importance of not blaming the survivor
  • Looking beyond known risk indicators
  • Learning lessons from survivors
  • Referral pathways and additional support

We are also able to offer Open College Network accredited training for practitioners in a number of areas, including Child Sexual Exploitation. If you are interested in exploring this option, we would be happy to discuss costs and specific learning outcomes. All our accredited training can be delivered online or face to face, dependent on your preference.

We also offer a programme of education for children and young people ‘Purple Leaf Education’ available in schools, group settings and on an individual basis that is focused on consent, healthy relationships, identifying uncomfortable feelings and accessing information and support.

All clients supported by Purple Leaf can access holistic support from our parent company, WMRSASC, including specialist CSE support (The BRANCH project), counselling and our helpline.

If you would like further information about any of our services then please get in touch with Sarah Melia on 01432 266551 or email enquiries@purpleleaf.org.uk
