The RNIB are seeking fluent French and German speakers to volunteer to assist students in informal conversation sessions. Sessions are organised by subject teachers and safeguarding is covered as part of the induction process.
Cruse Bereavement need volunteers. Learn how to support people coming to terms with a loss through bereavement. Training up to OCN Level 2 accreditation.
Volunteer Independent Visitors are needed to make a difference to a young persons life. For 2 - 4hrs per month, NYAS wants people aged 21+ who can commit for 2yrs. Days out, having fun, listening, supporting and being a positive influence.
Citizens Advice Witness Service have two current volunteering roles:
- Witness Service Outreach Volunteers, who provide support to vulnerable and intimidated witnesses, meeting them away from the court environment, in the evening until 18.30 and on Saturday mornings until 11.30. Additionally, volunteers will provide trial day support at court.
- Worcestershire Witness Service - Court Volunteer: We are looking for people who are able to give one day per week or fortnight to support witnesses at Worcestershire Magistrates and Worcestershire Crown Courts, we provide free training and any out of pocket expenses during volunteering.
