Does your group or organisation represent marginalised women and girls across the county?

The West Mercia Police (WMP) are setting up an  Independent Advisory Group to give feedback and advice on their Violence  Against Women and GirlsPlan. This plan is based on the Maggie Blyth  Report into the inadequacies of how police deal with crimes against  women and girls: https://www.npcc.police.uk/SysSiteAssets/media/downloads/our-work/vawg/policing-vawg-national-framework-for-delivery-year-1.pdf

The WMP are looking for groups representing  marginalised women and girls who can give the police advice based on  their knowledge and experience of police actions (or inactions) on  domestic and sexual abuse and other forms of violence against women and  girls.

If you would like to express an interest in being involved, please contact Herefordshire Women’s Equality Group at: joanna@beanfield.co.uk before Tuesday 25th July, and they will forward the name of your organisation to WMP.
