Herefordshire Community Network for Ukraine is working to support  Ukrainians arriving in Herefordshire. Coordinating  voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) activities and  services in responding to the needs of people from Ukraine.
 
There is a great team of local groups and organisations that make up the network. See below for our calendar of events and map of the network. 
 
The Network of groups, organisations and their link workers from across the county meet monthly to share emerging needs of Ukrainian guests arriving  and living in Herefordshire and their sponsors/hosts. It is an  opportunity to share updates about the work that is happening around the  county and coordinate our support and events as well as identify gaps  and opportunities. The Network welcomes any group or organisation in the  county that would like to be involved in this response or is interested  in providing support or activities for Ukrainians and/or hosts/sponsors.

Herefordshire Ukrainian Integration Project

hvoss has been awarded funding by Herefordshire Council through the Support for Ukraine Community Integration Grant Scheme until December 2023. The project aims to support the ongoing integration of Ukrainian guests into the community.

Inna Protsiuk, based in Hereford, and Anzhelika Bychkova, based in Ross-on-Wye, are link workers providing one-to-one support to  Ukrainians arrived in Herefordshire. Inna and Anzhelika are here to help  with a wide range of issues, including registering for benefits and  social housing, job searches, finding relevant training courses and  helping with translation and advocacy in appointments, engaging with  social activities … or anything that is needed. 

Victoria Price is the Community Network Co-ordinator  working with groups and organisations supporting Ukrainians and their  hosts through Herefordshire Community Network for Ukraine. The Network  meets monthly to share key intelligence regarding the emerging needs of  Ukrainians arriving and living in Herefordshire and their hosts and to  coordinate support and resources in place across the county.
